Maybe you didnt spend enough time there. The plastic surgery is extremely uncanny valley in Korea.

This is because they literally change their entire face shape to look more white. It's not "normal" plastic surgery. So yeah, if you're going to change your face from round to pointy you may look a bit off.

Yes, because those are the beauty standards there, so if you go there for surgery, you'll be getting it from someone who has learned these techniques and style. Meaning they will be trying to raise your nose bridge, narrow your job, make your eyes big and round, etc. And that's why so many people there look so incredibly STRANGE.

Also I've had botox in Korea and yes, it's cheap (but not $40 cheap, usually more like $100, maybe $80) and it's for Korean botox, which is actually not great and wears off much more quickly. You will pay a premium for American botox, and again, it's an assembly line, so there's no sitting and consulting with the doctor. They will give you your injections in 5 minutes and then it's onto the next. If all you care about is getting cheap botox, you can get probably better experience in other countries[/quote]
