I went to Korea this past summer, and while yes, lots of people with plastic surgery, they didn't look "inhuman", at least no worse than the Americans I see with plastic surgery.

Maybe you didnt spend enough time there. The plastic surgery is extremely uncanny valley in Korea.

This is because they literally change their entire face shape to look more white. It's not "normal" plastic surgery. So yeah, if you're going to change your face from round to pointy you may look a bit off.

It's also fairly cheap there. One of my friends lived in seoul for 10 yrs and still raves about how cheap botox was. I think she said $40 for her 11's/forehead. [/quote]
