OP here- Y'all are some sad, hurt people. They are direct flights, am departure, evening return, and 4 star hotels, ocean view.  Costco travel currently has three days at the St. Regis for $2800 if that is your thing.  We decided against it this time around.  But you can stay home and stay angry while we go enjoy our trip, which is clearly not good enough for you.[/quote]

You were nice to post OP!  PR is great and often does have great bargains — it is closer than other places in Carribean and there are more hotel options so the prices are often much better.  We went one year for Thanksgiving and it was like half of the AI we’d priced in Jamaica.  We also used a Costco package and got something like an additional $500 or more off that way.  Please come back and tell us where you stayed and if you like it!  I would love to go back some time.[/quote]
