It now appears that its assessed value could overtake its market value in the not-distant future. These new assessments are leaving people even more house-burdened and are a way of raising taxes while claiming not to raise taxes. Also, I don't buy it that commercial real estate has risen at less than 16%. That is being at less than its value, just like the ee years ago.[/quote]
