Online retailers seem to have chosen two paths to deal with this (i) the "no returns for stuff on sale" system (but still free returns for other stuff); or (ii) returns for a restocking fee (including stuff not on sale).

As i get older, and time is more valuable and i have money, i find i prefer spending the $8 to return stuff.  I figure it is less than what i would spend to drive to the mall and get starbucks, had i bought (and returned it) in person. [/quote]
