It’s a very black / white issue. You cannot sell generics of a drug under patent unless the drug is in shortage. And the FDA already paused once to get even more data before ruling the shortage is over. Pkus, the fact many insurance policies are dropping it in 2025 means fewer people can afford it and it will be even more available. To some extent, people were very lucky it was available compounded for as long as it was. You may want to try Wegovy, although they are also applying to ending compounding due to the end of their shortage. And will also have fewer customers with insurance changes in 2025.
