Arrive early.  But not too early.  They get annoyed if you are late or even if you are just on time.  But if you get there too early your kid may get impatient waiting so I’d get there 10 to 15 mins early.

Round 2 is a black box—no one really knows what they are looking for or what they do—but they divide the kids into smaller groups and monitor their social interactions—how they respond to teachers, other kids.  They do some kindergarten like activities like asking them to write their name and monitoring their pencil grip, puzzles, some play, etc.  They already know the kid is smart enough because they made it to round 2 so they seem to be looking to see whether the kid is teachable—can they handle frustration, will they participate if asked a question, will they disturb the class, do they follow directions, are they excited to learn, etc.[/quote]

Does birth month matter, or does Hunter try to even it out across the year. My child is an October birthday.  Feels like the January-March kids will come off much better than the fall birthday kids socially...[/quote]
