And this is consistently the problem that parents talk about in the district; the huge variance in expectations and alignment with standards and curriculum from school to school and teacher to teacher. I’m all for giving teacher autonomy to tailor things for the needs of their students. Similarly expectations and standards need to be high for ALL(from students to teachers to administrators). There is no reason PP should be saying the above.[/quote]
