1. Are you at all interested in getting a weekly menu plan made for you (with a grocery list) and would you use it regularly? - NO, sorry. I tried this in the past and it was just too complicated. It can't account for the items already on hand and if the recipe is new or has an odd ingredient I don't want the possibility of visiting multiple grocery stores. Also, in our house, we eat leftovers at least 2 nights a week and eat out once a week so I don't need 7 nights of different dinners. Now if you want to send recipes for a couple of days, include a grocery list that is tailored for my local grocery store complete with aisle numbers and brand names, then I might be interested.
So if these two issues had been solved (taking care of the ingredients you already have + of any unusual ingredients), would you still have considered it too complicated? Our idea is that once people start using weekly dinner plans, they will not have leftover ingredients since we would minimize those for them and would also give suggestions for lunch/snack recipes in case there is any. In addition, we would provide alternative ingredients to less common ones to act as substitutes whenever needed. Does that sound any better to what you've tried? In any case, thanks so much for your comment. It helps a lot.
