Thank you! Can this test be done now after first quarter is over? The counselor says that it is too late to move and she has missed a lot of the curriculum. She is a fast learner (she finished all but 1 unit in 7th grade Math in a month on Khan Academy in the summer) and can catch up over the winter break. If the grade in Algebra 1 is lets say a B in middle school, are there tests to retake so the B will not be counted in high school? [/quote]

PP you replied to. Unfortunately I think they won't let you switch now the first quarter is over. An alternative was proposed to us: that DD might take two math classes in 8th grade. Maybe you can ask for that alternative?[/quote]
