https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/18/travel/jose-andres-capital-one-landing-airport-restaurant.html Looks like it will be pretty similar to Jaleo? At least as much as possible in an airport. Tapas does make sense because you can serve them quickly usually, which is smart when people might have say a 30 minute window to get food before their flight. Free for VentureX cardholders plus 1 guest. $45 for regular Venture cardholders. $90 for general public.
Haven't been to the one in Dulles. Is this really worth $45? I am a Venture cardholder.
The one in Dulles is nice, albeit not in the most convenient spot. I like the food variety and drink service. But the best part is the grab and go - they have drinks, salads, sandwiches and some snacks that you can take with you on a flight. I don't recall any other lounges that let you take food or drink out. So even if you don't have time to eat, grabbing the food is great and saves you from overpriced airport food. I wonder how much sitting space the DCA one is going to have for the non X card folks? Bc Dulles can get full very quickly...
