The Israelis hate the Ethiopians in their country, so that’s the bigger danger to them. The government tried to offer them financial incentives to go home but they didn’t bite. They have protested a few times about the treatment they get there to no avail. I don’t think they have a future there, they are probably not far down the list of those to be removed. If I had to guess I would say they are probably next after Israeli Arabs. [/quote]

And younger Ethiopians know that very well but older Ethiopians  remember the mayhem  of communism post Haile Selassie in the 1970s and how that bankrupted once the richest country in Africa and brought it to the abyss of hunger and destitution and Carter did nothing but  Reagan and Bush saved them and he brought in tons of Ethiopians as refugees so there’s some that have loyalty to republicans because of that.
