Are they saying not to? Stop grasping at straws. Parents don't want schools to be indoctrination camps for fringe ideas. If something that has "education" in its name hasn't been able to right the ship of failing schools, it serves no purpose.  Arguing that the dept has no teeth only confirms it.[/quote]
