We have been invited there for a family event, but we have kids, a couple of whom are vegetarian, and one with peanut/tree nut allergies. Any experiences with any of those?
We eat there all the time both at Chevy Chase and Mclean. They are great with allergies. PN/TN. DC eats the steak and shrimp or crab cocktail (can’t remember either(. Usually get vanilla ice cream or cheesecake. Avoid any of other other desserts. I also ask that bread basket is nut free but there could be cross contamination so depending on your comfort level. Also always inspect because I do think one of the rolls has nuts and that is something that can be accidentally given by the bus staff as they serve that and not the servers. Enjoy!
