Have you been?  I feel like this is a pretty limited view. There is so much more than gambling - amazing shows and restaurants. Great service everywhere. Shopping if that’s your thing. 
 
Hiking in red rocks (or whatever it’s called) is 20 minutes away and beautiful in the winter

I love beach and outdoors vacations too although I was personally disappointed in Sedona. I thought THAT was super congested and touristy although the hiking was beautiful.

I just think Vegas can be fun in its own way, and I’ve never gambled there. Lots of other things to do. [/quote]
