Huh? Why are you being snarky? Ops longer question was literally why does midi seem to look so bad with flats. The answer? (That anyone with an ounce of experience with fashion knows) Because flats look terrible with midi on absolutely everyone.

And if you want to get more into it…. Dc women may be wearing midi length still, but it’s a bizarre region where women almost seem to enjoy wearing stuff that makes them as dour and unattractive looking as possible. Even the ones into fashion seem to take pleasure from anti fashion. So you end up with a lot of midi length. Other parts of the country did not embrace this trend as much, because, well, it’s unflattering. Put it with a pair of flats and it’s the least flattering of all. [/quote]
