You can find the maps online easily (538, Washington Post, etc.). But since the polls are tied in all the swing states there's no action there.

At this point all you need to know is that Harris needs PA-WI-MI to win, and that PA in particular is the lynch pin. There are some other scenarios where Harris could win but they don't really make sense (extremely unlikely she wins AZ or GA if she lost one of the northern states).

Everything beyond that is just gravy. If Harris wins those three she might also carry NV-NC-GA which would give her a huge majority. On the other hand if Trump wins PA then it's also likely he'd win either WI or MI and very likely he'd carry at least GA-NC-AZ, giving him a huge majority. But there's no point in speculating about either of those scenarios until we know who won PA which we can't know until after the election.[/quote]

Exactly my point. Kamala’s path to 270 is much tighter than Trump’s (she had to get ALL 3 of MI, WI, and PA, whole Trump only needs ONE, and has Florida and Ohio in the bag, which decided contests in past years). I don’t think they want to highlight that.

And I don’t buy that it’s just because the race is close — past races have been exceptionally close (2000 and 2020 for example) and they were constantly showing the map.

The true map will be very depressing to Kamala’s supporters on Tuesday when they finally show the returns come in. [/quote]
