And FWIW, if you start MCPS HS in 9th grade, it's impossible to have a 5.0 wgpa by the time you finish, because there's no honors PE, unless they've changed that in the past few years. So presumably it will all be factored in when it matters. And students could miss out on some fun and interesting electives in HS if they are unwilling to take classes that aren't designated to get that bump. [/quote]
