Bath fixtures from the more reasonably-priced and perfectly working Kohler instead of others.
Organic bedding from Pottery barn is great quality and design for the price. Can't say the same for the rest of PB...

Now for clothes, I prefer to buy the best quality (Patagonia, Petit Bateau, Jacadi, Tilley hats etc) but used!
eBay and consignment stores are wonderful resources.
