Charles Lindbergh was never a presidential candidate, even though some members of the extreme-right wanted him to run.

Stop muddying the waters, PP. The point here is that this is the first time in modern US history when a Presidential candidate of a major party has openly espoused violent anti-immigrant rhetoric coupled with eugenics theories.

If you equivocate and try to spin this as if this is normal for the United States, you are failing to identify the dangers of this election (maybe that's your goal?). We had slavery and Native American mass murder, a long time ago. We're trying to do better now, right?

We never had a recent Presidential candidate say immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country and that they have bad genes, like Trump did in 2024.
