Milton's expected to hit around the Tampa Bay area as a major hurricane. This does not seem good, especially with some people who are already trying to recover from Helene. However, I am also worried that Milton might turn and move left towards the East Coast (I assume exactly where it could be around the Carolinas or DMV area.)
It's WAY too early for solid predictions on east coast impacts, PP. But yes, some models have it hugging the entire east coast all the way north... If it hits the populated center of Florida, then scrapes the entire coast, it would be the first time in recorded history that a major hurricane has gone from the western gulf to hit Florida then done a number of the east coast as well. So. Might not happen.
