Just because religion isn't a part of your value system (and your response has left me wondering whether you lack one generally), doesn't give you the right, duty, or even the opportunity to respond the way you did.

Clearly you weren't raised properly, because if you were, you would have recognized this is one of those times where if you have nothing nice to say, it's best to say nothing at all. That has nothing to do with believing in God or prayer.

My prayer for you, OP, is that you find the peace and joy you lack in your life that would cause you to utter such a remark. Life's too short to have such a nasty disposition, as the death of this young man demonstrates.[/quote]
