I live in ND. Our legislature is 89% GOP, but Burgum has a 57% approval rating. There's a bit of gerrymandering, mostly affecting Indian reservations (there was a Voting Rights Act decision this year or last year that required districts to be redrawn with regard to Standing Rock, where the DAPL protests happened some years ago), no state gerrymandering because with only 1 congressman there's no point (and not much point with regard to the legislature, they're pretty close to disappearing the Democrats altogether). I know we'll get stuck with another Republican governor (sadly, the Dem candidate is one of the few Dems in the legislature, although his district has been one of the few reliably blue for about 15 years now). The GOP guy is the current congressman and voted against certifying the 2020 election. [/quote]
