They usually pay me at least $35/day for a one visit day - I'm spending close to an hour getting there and back, never mind the time I spend washing/filling bowls and walking the dog if it's a dog walk visit. What is the daily boarding rate at a nice facility near you, OP? That's what you should pay your dog sitter at minimum, especially if she is hanging out with your dog, walking your dog, coming to your house multiple times per day to do this. You're paying to have your dog in the comfort of your home rather than stressed out at a boarding facility with exposure to other dogs and potential illness.[/quote]
