I love the perspective of some who relish small town life v more opportunities outside that environment.  I think when I was younger I only gravitated toward the latter option.  As I've aged, I can respect how some may find that kind of small town life awesome.  I don't know that I'm personally like that but it's a perspective that's interesting to watch on this show.

Really highly suggest it.  I love Succession, Vampire Diaries/Buffy, Mad Men, ER, Sopranos, West Wing too but something about FNL is absolutely breath taking.  Especially in this day and age, it's not about just 1 person or a couple or a specific direction/situation/thing, but a community and a way of life.

I'm not a football person but I really enjoyed this show regardless.  I never read the book but liked the movie.  I think it's the only story that put forth a successful book, movie and show! [/quote]
