Did you really think that all of the MLS clubs have national team level talent??  Not sure how 13 of 26 matters?  This is taking the best of all of them so one would expect that representation may be stronger in one region than another.  (i.e. in this case CA and FL)

Yes, we're only talking about one age group.  READ THE TITLE OF THE POST.  We aren't talking about all ages or any other ages.

And for this age, DCU has no one selected.  Unfortunately, that is just a fact.

Yes, soccer is political.  Especially in the US.  And very much agree, the USYNTs are often times more about politics than actual talent.  Either way, DCU arguably failed on both of these fronts (political maneuvering for the players and talent development/ID) for this age group.  And this is an age group that they have had in their system for almost three years (2009s have been at DCU for u14, u15 and now u16, the beginning ages of the USYNT cycles).
