1. no it isn't if you've ever actually watched rec soccer. I used to think that until I went and actually watched some rec games and was flabbergasted by how unskilled they all were in comparison to my son's div 4 team.

2. Results should always matter. It'd keep the big clubs propping up their u-little teams as better teams then they are in check. There are so many mismatched teams in the younger ages because they let the clubs place the teams for optics instead of skill level. [/quote]

If you don't want your player's team's scores posted you should not be playing on a travel team. It's supposed to be competitive even in developmental ages. clubs don't want to upset parents by 'embarrassing' them because their future pro-player's team didn't win every game and everyone can see it.[/quote]

Are they developing soccer skills or counting numbers on scoreboard?

At youth littles, ncsl etc, the better developed team without a real goalie loses many times. 
The score doesn't reflect that.[/quote]
