You’re inviting 16 kids from home room so these are both boys and girls? If just girls, plus the few girls from recess, that’s almost all the girls (you said 27). That is an issue because then you’d be excluding only a few girls.

If the home room invite is coed, maybe considering inviting just the girls this year, which sounds like it wouldn’t increase the number of invites that much. [/quote]
