It was absolutely fabulous. We had a terrific time. We started in Cairo, did the pyramids. Then spent a could of nights in the White Desert, which was spectacular and the best part of the trip. We spent a day with a local family so our kids could hang with an average Egyptian family. We came back to Cairo and flew to Aswan. Then we cruised up the Nile to Luxor with the standard stops along the way. We did a sunrise hot air balloon flight above Luxor. Then we flew back to Cairo and did a couple of days exploring Cairo and the museums. We loved the trip. We hired private guides that were kid friendly and our kids learned a ton.
