OP here. How do you know how much sex the four couples have? Mercifully they are sufficiently well-mannered not to discuss their sex lives on camera. My point was that the sons have learned from their father how to treat their wives.

I have not seen the show and will check it out but can you say specifically what the dad is modeling and the sons are doing that is so great? Just curious what you are seeing that is prompting this reaction.[/quote]

OP here. The father (and by extension the sons) is loyal, loving, respectful and considerate toward his wife. They are a team in business and in parenting. He sprinkles in little lovely gestures such as spontaneously kissing her on her shoulder.

Some of the men in the family are very good looking. The women do not seem to make an effort (for example no makeup whatsoever on any of them). I remember back when the first season came out, a Los Angeles-based real estate agent friend of mine said that the way the mother looks, in LA she couldn't even sell a shack. Of course this is exaggerated or perhaps just goes to showing how superficial LA is and how much people there (wrongly) focus on appearances.[/quote]
