I still feel quite awkward about that. But I'm also not willing to let another child railroad my shy, sweet DD's efforts to be a good playmate at her own home. I think at least one other playdate it going to be unavoidable but I like the suggestion of trying to have one of the parents there part of the time to observe the behavior if I can finagle that gracefully.
