If I may revive this thread, I’m looking for some guidance on chapel days. Do any Saints parents have suggestions for dresses that would be ok for chapel days AND that a teen might wear?
The girls wear exactly what a teen would wear. Quite short skirts/dresses, often. Others wear whatever suits their personal sense of style as long as it isn’t sweats or blue denim. The girls have a lot more flexibility on chapel days than the boys. DD is a little more conservative with her clothes than some, because while she thinks the styles are cute she’s just not comfortable wearing tight or revealing clothes herself. She’s worn nice skorts or skirts with romper shorts or whatever those are called for teens rather than little kids, above the knee but not just below her butt. Sometimes (esp when it’s colder) she wears nice but comfortable (microfiber/stretch) pants. Nice tops or sweaters. Occasionally she wears a dress, again above the knee but not super short. Other girls wear very short skirts. Still other girls wear longer skirts or don’t wear skirts at all. It’s very flexible, even for chapel.
