Do you recommend your daughter’s club volleyball team? My DD is also signed up for MVSA fall seniors and would love to get on one of their club teams but I know it will be tough.  [/quote]

My daughter was in the MVSA rec league, but she didn't make any of their teams (she eventually accepted an offer from another club that she tried out for). MVSA is not easy to get into, especially if all you have is rec experience. They invite everyone in the rec league to their tryout, but very few make it on their teams. It's a waste of money for the majority of rec players. Most of the teams are already formed with players from the previous year - they use the tryouts to replace a few players who don't perform that well and a few who leave for other clubs. [/quote]
