My son (experienced AAU player) has attended several camps and about 6 training sessions. Flexibly is great especially trying to schedule training around changing team practices. Very good experience so far with elite/advanced training except on 2 occasions when beginner players attended (hint—if your kid can’t dribble well and misses most of his shots, he doesn’t belong in elite training even if he is the star of his Rec team). Beginners can’t keep up forcing the trainers to teach more basic skills. (I complained about one of the sessions because the trainer had to teach basic defense and shooting form to beginners but my son got a free session back.)
This was my exact concern. I noticed for Pro-Fit that you just sign up for random sessions that have openings (unlike Evolution who places you with other kids of similar skill level). This means my son could be playing with beginners or kids who shouldn't even be in elite training. Good to know they gave you back a free session though. Thanks for the info!
