Would be great to see if one of you Techies could run a language analysis of posts to see college bias on DCUM. My best guess it would be like: Biased positive: HYP Brown MIT UVA WASP minus the P Rice Duke Balanced: Dartmouth BC Notre Dame Penn Michigan Miami Tulane Texas Biased negative: Cornell Stanford Northeastern Georgetown Chicago Pomona + other non WAS SLAC Cal system Columbia
Hmm. I sent kids to Oberlin and W&M. Interested to see where they fall in your rankings. I’d say WM balanced. Great school and less hyped by UVA despite almost identical admission stats (within 1 ACT point and .05 GPA on admissions— and in some cases WM has the high stats). Oberlin biased negative. But largely because there is one identifiable Oberlin hater who must have a keyword search saved or something . They should be here any minute??? Anyway, where do those schools go? Also JMU, VT and UMD, since at least kids I know end up at one of these.
