I have a 19 mo and a 3.5 yo who could very easily have gotten into the bag and become curious about its contents. I am so angry at DH for leaving it out and not informing me about it. DH always keeps the safe in the top shelf of his closet and it still makes me nervous. I have been hounding him to at least change the code but he kept telling me he needed to find a special key that he had lost. But I went online and figured out how to change the code without a key, so at least I did that. And I moved the safe to the top shelf of a remote closet in the basement so it will be harder for my kids to reach.

Am I overreacting? Any advice on firearm storage and safety?
