I went there a long time ago and in February I called a friend who works in the career center, to ask how I could help place graduates in jobs in NOVA in education. She said that everyone in that field that was graduating already had been placed.

They are experiencing a glow up and I am sending my child there. Their typical GPA for the class of 2028 is 3.7.

My child's merit aid came to around 50% (for 4 years). Community service is a huge part of the focus.  For business and for helping professions, like speech pathology, it has a great reputation.

Many people who went there have children who go there because it's a pretty warm and inspiring place.  Professors care a lot. I was ill one semester and had to stay home. Every single teacher called my family home to make sure I was OK.

They don't make you choose a major until 2 years in, but you can start out with a focus. Good luck to your kid! Don't let the price tag scare you.
