Sara Harberson in AN spends a good deal of time trying to pick the "ideal" major for her clients bc picking the "wrong" one will make your chances harder, while picking the "right" one can make it slightly easier. She looks through your background/classes/ECs/grades/LOR teachers etc to figure out the right story.[/quote]
