But I would be inclined to purchase a 12u suit for a dedicated swimmer that wants one. Because my kids wore them for a season at least, and for boys can be had for 50-75$ I would save them for only certain meets, so they maintain that mental edge when wearing them. I don't think they matter too much, especially for a 10yo. An older 12 girl in a thresher that fits tightly, I do think can aid.[/quote]
