Same.  Op, I think you need to speak up about your expectations.  If you want them to contribute to groceries at the beach, tell them that.  If you want to have dinner one night to catch up when they visit, make a plan for that.  I agree with pp that she sounds oblivious, but you need to speak up.  [/quote]
