Because we all know who he is.  Republicans know who he is and like him in spite of/because of those things.  And lots of independents are leaning that way.

Biden is not who we thought.  We thought he was still there.  We have been lied to by the Whitehouse and frankly the majority of the media because it was covering it up by either not asking for more access or asking tough questions. The media, like you, was focused on how bad Trump is but never bothered to dig into the stories of Biden’s struggles or his ever more limited availability for unscripted events.  I mean I only just learned after the Debate that he bailed on the G7 dinner. Wtf is that!  We are still supposed to the the leader of the free world and he skipped it to rest up!  No. No. He HAS to go to things like that.  He then tells us after the debate disaster that he needs to go bed  by 8pm. No.  If that is what he needs, that is ok but then it’s just time to retire.  He is NOT entitled to be the President of the United Stated and him staying in the spot is preventing us from having a good candidate who can beat Trump.  He is acting like a king right now.  He apparently can’t really do the job now and lots of people do not see electing him as any better than electing Trump.  And with him in such obvious decline, much as I disagree, that position is not crazy. [/quote]
