OP again. Thanks for the recs so far, and maybe I'm being unrealistic, but I was hoping for something that made me feel a little hipper than Talbot's or Not Your Daughter's Jeans. My current favorite pair are Joe's, but I've worn them until they're threadbare and I don't think they make the same style anymore.
OP, I'm the 10:08 poster who can't fit into her old Citizens jeans anymore. I also like Joe's jeans. But the Citizens jeans I have are the Dita Petite bootcut. They are not too low cut. http://piperlime.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=703711&locale=en_US&kwid=1&sem=false&sdReferer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Furl%3Fsa%3Dt%26rct%3Dj%26q%3Dcitizens%2520of%2520humanity%2520dita%2520petite%26source%3Dweb%26cd%3D1%26ved%3D0CEcQFjAA%26url%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.piperlime.com%252Fproducts%252Fcitizens-of-humanity-dita-petite-bootcut-jeans-P703711.jsp%26ei%3D_dFZUM2MK4iC8AS4mICICQ%26usg%3DAFQjCNGu1DSc-tfg3a5Bn0_uyuc9d_7CtA%26sig2%3DwZDHpsJBFbLt5D490zssmg I'm pretty sure mine are a 27, and are a bit tight (but I can still button them) so you may want to try a 28 or 29. I really like these jeans a lot.
