No need to blame them. News accounts said they didn't understand the cause of the injury, which is why they rushed the baby to the hospital. The alleged murderer was a trusted family friend who they probably never dreamed would harm their children in a million years -- the sort of person who is usually exalted on DCUM because they come from a good family, are getting a PhD, etc.[/quote]
