They are “deep fakes”. Who is Andrew, Don’t walk, run? Why should we trust his video?
It’s a CBS news segment. You think that Andrew faked a CBS new segment?
I don’t rust any video in twitter that’s not from the original source, no.
You are welcome to think that the CBS news segment is fake. For those of us that live in reality, the segment was real.
I didn’t reach a decision on that. I just have higher standards for my sources so I don’t get bent out of shape about a video some twiter rando shares and I wait to see it from a source I trust. No reason for me trust Andrew.
That’s why twitter allows media (or any tweet) to have a community note attached to it, to give consumers information about said tweet. If someone tweets misinformation or leaves something out or adds something or is manipulative, the community note will explain the problem. Twitter is a platform to spread (retweet) information. It’s what they are known for. People tweet and it gets retweeted and goes viral, etc.
I know what twitter is. And it’s a cesspool of misinformation, especially since Musk took over - he proudly dismantled the few safeguards that did exist. Twitter was great if you followed the right people and still stayed on guard for lies and fakes. All I’m saying is everyone needs to be cautious and I certainly am. Not going to panic over a twitter video shared by a rando on X then shared again in an anonymous Internet forum.
