I have been underwhelmed by the kindergarten math curriculum at our school. I would like to do some work with my daughter over the summer in the hopes that she can begin with the level 1 Beast Academy books next year. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with her over the summer? TIA.
What kindergarten math curriculum?
OP here. Our school uses Eureka. Thanks to the PP for the summer bridge suggestions. I'll take a look and agree it would be good to do ELA as well as math. And to the other PP who mentioned boredom--I know this could get worse with supplementation. But my kid is already bored, and I would like her to at least have some challenge outside of school. And my understanding is that Beast Academy gets them to think more creatively about problems. (I may be wrong on that, as we never used it with my older kid.)
