Aggression is aggression, no matter the cognitive and emotional state of the perpetrator. It needs to be addressed appropriately. Also, because public school systems, including MCPS and DCPS, have often trotted out this term after acts of violence: "Restorative Justice" is not justice for the victims. [/quote] This, the assumption that special needs kids are all violent is absurd and they are no more violent than other kids. Reality is part or much of it is also parenting. [/quote]
