Do you think we have an infinite supply of fossil fuels?  Do you think that fossil fuels don't negatively impact the environment?  Do you think that we will eventually need to find an alternative energy source?  Then why not start now and, you know, LEAD?[/quote]

And where might the billions of dollars come from to develop this technology? Oh yeah more taxes. We've been doing this for years and it's still expensive, inefficient and not worth it. Cars don't drive on your pixie dust. New oil reserves have been found and continue to be found, Tar sands in Russia and Canada, Gulf of Guinea etc. They are cheap to extract and they have fueled the world for centuries. I'm not against any regulation but this "we shouldnt drill here" because I want to be all warm and fuzzy is why our people are getting killed. [/quote]
