Do parents need to apply for their children? Is it a program that teachers choose students?[/quote] DP. School picks. At our school they screen everyone in May but this varies. I think that's when they do the annual HOPE/GBRS (yes, it's an annual thing even though most people only think about it in 2nd). You only hear if your kid is accepted to level II or level III. You can also parent refer at any time and the school has to respond within a month.[/quote]
