The dogs were outside for all 5 weeks.  They were fed and given water by a teen daily.   It was so hot, there were summer thunder storms, and the dogs tended to sleep all day and then stayed up all night barking for hours until exhausted.    The moco police were called.  Nothing was done.  The animal control folks were called.  Nothing happened since it was apparent that dogs were getting water, food, and had the shade of the tailgating tent.     They left a we stopped by note for the owners.

The following summer, neighbor again left for weeks, though this time put the dogs in an open door 2-car garage with fencing on the open side.  Truly awful.    Thank goodness they moved away before our 3rd summer together.
