IB in general is considered either equal or superior to AP by college admissions officers. They’re considered more work, more writing, more thinking. My kids are in an only AP school so I’m not an IB pusher. But I can’t speak specifically to the sciences and how they might compare to the tougher APs like Physics C.[/quote]

If by that you mean admissions results, that’s because of the schools. Einstein isn’t going to outperform Whitman in college admissions. It would be poor analysis to attribute that to IB vs AP.[/quote]

Its a problem when Whitman offers higher level math and science and Einstein doesn't so kids are sent to MC.[/quote]

Can you give examples of higher level courses that kids are sent to MC for? Do they take them virtually or are they supposed to go to MC during school hours (or after)?[/quote]
